They say if you have to explain a logo, its purpose is lost. Okay, so, I won’t explain my blog logo (that’s what ‘blogo’ is); I will present it. (Trust a writer/advertiser to think of a more attractive way to say something – even if I say so myself.)
So, I give you the self-conceived and -designed…
Look above ‘R’ (in grey to differentiate it from any other ‘infinity’ and to emphasize that the blog name is based on mine), and you will see something looking in return. That’s Irfy, the mascot for Irfinity. He is of course based on the universal symbol for infinity, the continuous loop. And is ever curious – looking here, looking there, looking around, and even looking into himself. For it’s by ceaselessly looking around and into ourselves, can we also be infinitely creative. Irfy then welcomes, and beckons, you – to be infinitely curious, and creative, yourselves.
P.S. For people more interested about the particulars, the font is Berlin Sans FB Demi and the colours are blue at RGB 0-176-240 and grey at RGB 191-all. As for why I used them? The font is nice and solid – just what I want my blog to be. And I love this shade of blue and this (blue-grey) combination.
