When it’s raining…
And you see the pigeons coupling
(Cooing, grooming, romancing)
And the mynas wildly chirping:
Hey there, find me interesting?
And the crows furtively collecting –
Twigs, broomstick sticks, anything
And on trees and window-sills, you find nests cropping…
You know ’tis the season of birds mating, nesting, egg-laying!
